The season you are actually in.
Your birth chart does not change. The sky does. A transit reading looks at where the planets are now against where they were when you were born, and reads the difference as timing.
What it is
Weather, not climate.
If the natal chart is your climate, transits are the weather. The slow planets in particular, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, spend years crossing a single part of a chart, and while they do, that part of life tends to be where the pressure and the interest are.
This is the reading people want when something has been going on for a while and they cannot name it. Often the useful discovery is not what is happening but how long it has been happening, and roughly how much longer it runs. A difficulty with a known end date is a different experience from an open-ended one, even when nothing else about it changes.
What you get
The two or three transits doing real work.
- Which transits are actually live right now, rather than a list of everything technically in range.
- What part of life each one is touching, in concrete terms.
- Approximate timing windows, including when the current one eases.
- What the season appears to be asking for, and what tends to make it harder.
- Anything notable coming into range in the next six to twelve months.
What I need
The same three pieces.
What I need from you
- Your birth date.
- Your birth time, as exact as you can get it. Your birth certificate is the reliable source; a hospital record or a parent’s memory of the hour is usually close enough.
- The city and state or country where you were born.
If you don’t know your birth time, say so on the form. I can still read the chart, but the houses and the rising sign are unreliable without it, and I will tell you which parts of the reading that affects rather than quietly guessing.
Honest limits
What transits will not do.
- They will not tell you that a specific thing will happen on a specific date. Anyone who does that is inventing the precision.
- They do not make anything inevitable. A transit describes a kind of pressure, not an outcome.
- A hard transit is not a warning and an easy one is not a promise.
- If you are in genuine crisis, this is not the right tool, and I would rather say that than sell you a reading.

Readings are written for reflection and perspective. They are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and nothing in a reading should replace a qualified professional where one is needed.
